Meet Our Mascots At The Petting Zoo

 

The Woodside Ranch petting zoo is open daily. Our llamas, goats, chickens, and ponies offer the whole family a great way to meet unique characters at the Ranch. Our baby goats are adorable and love attention! Of course, you must head out to visit our Woodside buffalo herd; they are magnificent animals not to be missed.

Fishing & Boating On Lake Woodside

 

We are a fisherman’s dream! Woodside Lake is loaded with bass, bluegill, and northern pike, and they are always biting. The Ranch provides complimentary fishing poles and life jackets, and you do not need a license. However, serious anglers need to bring their own lures and poles. We also invite guests to enjoy a relaxing afternoon in one of our rowboats, canoes, or paddle boats. (All fishing is catch and release only)

 

 

Take A Dip To Cool Off

 

When you need to cool down after an extended ride, there is no better oasis than our outdoor heated swimming pool. We encourage our guests to plan a pool party or organize a spirited game of pool volleyball. Food and drinks served poolside!.

 

 

Grab The Popcorn & Relax In Our Theatre

 

The Woodside Theatre is part of the Conference Center but available for guests to watch movies during their stay. Whether it’s a classic or newly released, you can settle in and watch your favorite flicks on a genuine movie screen with surround sound!

 

 

Light Up The Night At The Trading Post

 

The Trading Post is the center of the night-life scene at Woodside. With its famous horseshoe cocktail bar design, you can saddle right up to the counter. Here, you’ll find the Round-Up Room, which includes a dance hall and arcade area so you can light up the night. Relax, host a party, bust a few line-dance moves, belt out karaoke, play ping-pong or pool, and as always, relax!

Meet The Horses & Explore Our Countryside



Woodside Ranch is known for its well-trained horses and beautiful scenery. With just over 100 horses in our herd, we can offer several horseback riding activities depending on our guests’ preferences.

Guided Trail Rides

Our guided trail rides are among the most popular activities on the Ranch. There are several guided expeditions each day that give you a chance to explore over 1000 acres of wooded property. We offer a beginner horseback riding lesson for children aged 8-12 before hitting the trails. This lesson is also available to guests 13+ years upon request.

Pony Rides For The Littlest Family Members

For the younger buckaroo, Woodside Ranch also offers pony rides. They are located next to our barns in a covered ring. Just ask us about booking one of our delightful ponies.

Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides Across The Countryside

Wooded forests and quiet country fields are the perfect places to experience the relaxation of a horse-drawn wagon ride. The rumble of the wheels and the jingle of the harness are soothing sounds for the soul.

Breakfast Ride Prepares You For The Day

Wake up with the sun and head out on a breakfast horseback ride. This event is Saturday and Sunday only, dependent on the weather, as well as the number of guests occupying the Ranch.
